Privacy Policy

PlanOS (“PlanOS,” “we,” “us”) is a planning app operated by Global Depth Systems. This policy explains what information we collect when you use PlanOS, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, contact us at admin@globaldepthsystems.com.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and, optionally, a display name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, basic profile information, and a confirmation that your email is verified. If you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple account identifier and the email address you choose to share (including Apple’s private relay address if you hide your email). We never receive your Google or Apple password.
- Content you create. The goals, tasks, plans, comments, and related notes you enter into PlanOS so the app can store and display them back to you.
- Usage and diagnostic data. Basic technical information needed to operate the service reliably (for example, request logs and error reports).
How we use your information
- To provide PlanOS — saving your plans, signing you in, and showing you your own data.
- To generate task breakdowns. When you ask PlanOS to break down a goal, the goal text you provide is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to produce a suggested plan. Under our agreement with Anthropic this text is processed to serve your request and is not used to train their models. We do not send your password or your Google or Apple credentials.
- To maintain, secure, and improve the service.
How your information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us run PlanOS, and only as needed:
- Google — for “Sign in with Google” authentication.
- Apple — for “Sign in with Apple” authentication.
- Anthropic — to generate AI plan breakdowns from the goal text you submit (processed for your request; not used to train their models).
- Hosting/infrastructure — to store data and serve the application.
We may also disclose information if required by law.
Data storage and security
Your data is stored on servers operated for PlanOS. Access requires authentication, and your projects and tasks are isolated to your account. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data yourself, at any time, inside the app: open Settings → Danger zone → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and permanent — your account, plans, tasks, notes, and history are erased. You can also request deletion by emailing admin@globaldepthsystems.com.
Cookies and local storage
PlanOS uses your browser’s local storage and similar technologies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. These are required for the app to function.
Children
PlanOS is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
